Typical shit that happens in my day
*flips a coin*
Hmmm, heads. Umm, let’s do that again.
*flips coin again*
Tails. Grrrr. OK, best two out of three.
*flips coin thrice*
*realises coin was flipped too high*
*watches coin fall onto ground, roll, and go straight down a sewer drain*
OK, not only do I have a tie, but now I’m a quarter poorer than I was 10 seconds ago.

Otakon 2008
This is where I was last weekend from Thursday through Sunday. Purportedly, this is the second largest anime/mange convention in the US with Boston Anime being #1. I’m sorry, but … I think Otakon is in first place now. A whopping 27,000 attendees registered for this event. Think of it … 27 THOUSAND anime/manga fans (or as some call us, “geeks and freaks”) completely taking over the Baltimore Convention Center. Least we forget the spillage of the convention on the Inner Harbor. Talk about stares from the tourists. My poor SIL had to keep explaining WHY everyone was in costume. Rest assured, I was not. The closest I got to being in costume was a Village of the Sand headband around my neck. That was my homage to my fave character, Gaara.
[I'll add captions later]
And now, for the pics.
